Spring Showers, Whistler Flowers

Takes place throughout the month of May

Village Stroll

Brought to you by the Resort Municipality of Whistler

As we enter this typically rainy season, The Resort Municipality of Whistler commissioned local graphic designer, Ruth Barrow, to produce forest and alpine meadow art displays in temporary rain-activated paint at Whistler Olympic Plaza and throughout the Village Stroll.

Native and spring flowers displayed will include lupines, Indian paintbrush, mountain arnica, and a blooming alpine meadow.

The Village Stroll displays are already in place and are visible when the ground is damp. These locations will be connected by raindrop stencils leading to the meadow installation at Whistler Olympic Plaza which will continue to grow throughout the month of May.

The paint will last until the end of June before disappearing and is non-toxic, environmentally safe and biodegradable.
