New for 2018 is the Make-It Tent where you and your little ones can get crafty; Science World is throwing an interactive surprise science show; Jacky Essombe brings the rhythm of Central Africa to the mountains, and it gets creatively constructive with super-cool KEVA planks.
While there’s always something new, we’ll still bring you the classics — the dance parties, live music, and bubble fun that you (oops… we mean your kids) love.
The Whistler Children’s Festival is Arts Whistler’s longest-running program and a signature annual event, celebrating its 35th birthday in 2018. For the first 30 years, the festival took place in Creekside, moving to Whistler Olympic Plaza in 2013 with assistance and support from the Resort Municipality of Whistler. With this move, the festival was able to double its capacity, offering a larger and more diverse lineup of workshops and performances.
