Free Kids Entertainment Whistler Olympic Plaza

Whistler Children’s Festival went BIG for our big four-O! This year, as part of our 40th anniversary, Whistler Olympic Plaza is filled with inspiring and interactive entertainment! The best part… it’s FREE for everyone!

Kicking things off at 4 pm on Friday, May 19, we celebrate the first day of the Festival with the Opening Party. Internationally recognized First Nations hoop dancer, Alex Wells, will perform with his family sharing their First Nations tradition with festival goers. Then, local legend DJ Foxy Moron will join the party on the ones and twos, providing all the tunes you need to bust a move! If you work up an appetite, we got you covered – complementary maple taffy will be available on-site.

Saturdays and Sundays of the Festival between 11 am and 5 pm, stumble upon roving entertainment, be amazed by the return of Vancouver’s own Mom Bop, and don’t let their age fool you, as Murphey and The Cats throw you back to the roaring twenties. To round out the family fun, Karaoking (Monty Biggins) will bring a live karaoke party to the plaza. Check the signage on-site for the daily schedule and show times.

To close out the Whistler Children’s Festival, join DJ Ira at 4 pm on Sunday, May 28, for a showstopping dance party. This event has become a staple of the Festival and is one you don’t want to miss!

There is something for everyone in Whistler Olympic Plaza as part of the 40th Whistler Children’s Festival.
