Whistler Public Library
Founded in 1986, the Whistler Public Library, also known as “Whistler’s Living Room”, is housed in an environmentally efficient, award-winning building in the heart of Whistler Village. With a vision to inspire wonder, the Whistler Public Library believes that we are at our best when we create opportunities for discovery and connection.
Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre
The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centreis an authentic First Nation’s museum and cultural experience where the Skw̲xw̲ú7mesh and Lílw̓at cultures meet, grow and are shared. The Squamish and Lil’wat Nations have coexisted respectfully as neighbours since time immemorial. We have thrived on the bounty of the ocean, the rivers, and the land — living in close relationship with the world around us. Our cultures are grounded in rich, ancient traditions, and continue to grow and evolve in a modern world.
