A Festival Entry wristband gets you day-entry into the festival area, which is open from 10am to 4pm on both days and costs $10 for 3-10 year-olds and is free for adults and toddlers. There are free performances and on-site activities to enjoy, plus the craft options in the Make-It Tent, which you pay for separately by buying Fun Tickets.
Note: If you want to come on both Saturday and Sunday you will need to purchase Festival Entry for each day.
How much is a Festival Entry?
Children 3–10 years old | Saturday Festival Entry | $10
Children 3–10 years old | Sunday Festival Entry | $10
Ages 11+ and children 0–2 years old | FREE!
What is a Helping Hands Festival Entry?
We want to make sure that every child gets to experience a magical time at the festival regardless of their economic situation. To help make this happen we’re offering the Helping Hand Festival Entry again this year. Until July 1, you can purchase a Helping Hand Festival Entry which will be given to the Whistler Community Services Society to distribute to families who need it most.
How do I purchase Festival Entry and Fun Tickets?
You can purchase Festival Entry and Fun tickets online, or buy them at the festival. If you buy them online they will be waiting for you at Will Call at the festival entrance (they are not sent in the mail), which will be close to the entrance of the festival and open from 9am on both days and will also be available for pick up during the FREE Friday Night Pyjama Party, June 6 from 4pm to 7pm.
For Will Call pickups please bring proof of purchase with you by printing out the confirmation or presenting the confirmation page on your smartphone.
What are the Make-It Tent and Fun Tickets?
Instead of workshops, we’re trying something new this year with the Make-It Tent. We wanted to make it easy and accessible for you and your kids to get making—without specific times to work around we’re giving you all the gear and space you need to get creative, without the clock constraints.
Each craft option comes with photo-based instructions, tables of equipment like paints, feathers, and glitter (and so much more), and awesome volunteers to help guide you.
To get your craft-on you need to purchase Fun Tickets which can be exchanged for different activities in the Make-It Tent. Each activity has its own Fun Ticket rating, for example, a superhero mask is one ticket ($5) and a backpack-making kit is three ($15).
1 Fun Ticket = $5
5 Fun Tickets = $20 (get 1 free!)
Are the Make-It Tent craft activities included in my Festival Entry?
No. There are lots of free activities and performances included with your ticket, but the Make-It Tent craft activities are an additional fee.
How much do crafts in the Make-It Tent cost?
There are 9 crafts to choose from, ranging from $5 (one Fun Ticket) to $15 (three Fun Tickets).
Can I participate in the activities and the Make-It Tent crafts as an adult?
Yes. As crafts in the Make-It Tent are self-directed, we’re encouraging parents and kids to play together. All crafters should be accompanied by an adult at all times as you never know where they’re going to put that glue stick!
Why are there no workshops?
We have the Make-It Tent instead! It’s flexible, fun, and interactive.
What is your refund policy?
Festival Entry and Fun Tickets are non-refundable. You can feel good knowing the money is going to support this fun community festival put on by Arts Whistler, a non-profit organization.
