What are the Festival hours?
Friday, July 7, 5pm-8pm; Saturday, July 8, 10am-4pm; Sunday, July 9, 10am-4pm
How much are Festival Tickets?
A Festival Ticket costs $15 for children aged 3-15 years. Kids 2 and under and adults 16 and older are free. Admission includes unlimited access to all the live performances and on-site activities happening over the two days of fun.
Just around for one day? No problem! You can purchase a Saturday Ticket or a Sunday Ticket for just $10 to cram all the fun into one day.
Are workshops included?
There are lots of free activities and performances included with your ticket, but workshops are an additional fee. Register your child for creative workshops starting at just $10. Space is limited so we suggest you sign up in advance, however we will squeeze you in up to 15-minutes before the workshop starts if there’s availability.
How do I buy a Festival Ticket and register for workshops for the Whistler Children’s Festival?
Right here! Buy Festival Tickets and register for workshops online. Don’t forget to bring proof of purchase by either printing out your confirmation or have a digital copy on your smart phone. These will be exchanged for wristbands when you enter the festival.
I’ve bought a Festival Ticket, where do I pick up my wristband?
Pre-purchased wristbands can be picked up at the Ticket and Registration booth on Friday, July 7 from 5pm-8pm or July 8 and 9 from 9am-4pm when you join us for the festival. Please bring proof of purchase with you.
Where do I get my workshop tickets from?
If you registered and paid for a workshop prior to the festival you do not require a workshop ticket. Our workshop leaders will have your child’s name on the participant list. If you register online on the Saturday or Sunday, please bring proof of workshop purchase with you (printed or saved to your smart phone) to show the workshop leader. If you register at the Ticket and Registration booth on site, you will be given a registration slip which you will need to present to the workshop leader.
Note: If your child is attending a workshop you still need to purchase a Festival Ticket to be admitted to the festival and workshops.
Can I participate in the activities and workshops as an adult?
Yes, we encourage parents to enjoy quality time with their child through assisting them in activities and custom workshops. Workshop participants in the 3-5 year age group must be assisted by an adult at all times. If you’re using extra materials to join in then please make a donation ($2-5) based on the type of activity. If you’re likely to have a go at a number of the activities you can buy a Festival ticket and receive a wristband so that you don’t have to donate each time.
Helping Hands Festival Ticket
We want to make sure that every child gets to experience a magical time at the festival, regardless of their economic situation. Until July 1, you can purchase a Helping Hand ticket which will be given to the Whistler Community Services Society to distribute to families who need it most. This will give these families access to all the live performances and creative activities going on during the weekend.
